We’ve all experienced discouragement from time to time in our life. But, what do we do when discouragement becomes a habit in our mind that negatively impacts our ability to grow and change because it stops us from believing that we actually can?
Loneliness can leave us feeling profoundly isolated and unhappy. Even though we wish for meaningful connections with others, we can often find ourself stuck behind mental barriers that keep us separated from others.

Why are some people naturally happy and successful, while others experience problems and obstacles? Why is it that when we get what we want, we often fail to derive satisfaction from having it? Why are contentment and good fortune elusive, while difficulties arise effortlessly? How can I change this situation?
Taking this special opportunity to quiet the mind and reflect on the true nature of things, will allow you to deepen your meditation practice free from everyday distractions. You will feel increasingly peaceful and energized over the course of the weekend, and can then carry your peace and insight back home and into your daily routine.
