About this event
Held at Mount Mitchell Eco Retreat
In this relaxing weekend retreat we will learn how to use meditation on the mind (known as Mahamudra meditation) to experience greater peace, clarity and well-being. Derived from the Buddhist Mahamudra tradition, the meditation on this retreat will lead you on a voyage of exploration of your mind through which you can discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness.
This is the perfect opportunity to be guided in blissful meditations on the clarity of our own mind. Experiencing the deep peace and transformative quality of the pure nature of our awareness allows us easily to let go of limiting and painful self--conceptions and anxieties and become the wise, compassionate person we want to be.
Whether you are an experienced meditator or newcomer these famous centuries-old “Mahamudra meditations” help deepen mindfulness and concentration and will improve the quality of your meditation. You will feel increasingly peaceful and energized over the course of the weekend, and can then carry your peace and insight back home and into your daily routine.
