Overwhelmed by your feelings? Buddhist psychology offers a time-tested, powerful and healthy approach to dealing with painful, challenging emotions. Each week, we will apply these methods to states like craving, anger, jealousy, and self-hatred. First, we need to recognize them, learn how they work, and accept ourselves for where we are. Next, we can disempower them using special meditations. Finally, we can envision and even experience a state of total freedom and release, having transcended these difficult emotions.
