The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful, we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness; but if our mind is not peaceful, we will find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best conditions. Developing and maintaining a peaceful mind is therefore the foundation for all happiness.

If you are new to meditation and want to give it a try, please come join us. Or if you have been meditating for a while but would like some helpful tips for getting more from your practice you will also find the day helpful. Refreshments will served during the break.
