Dealing with Difficult Emotions Hendersonville NC Oct 19-Nov 9 2026
Overwhelmed by your feelings? Buddhist psychology offers a time-tested, powerful and healthy approach to dealing with painful, challenging emotions. Each week, we will apply these methods to a particular state like craving, anger, worry, and jealousy. First, we need to recognize them, learn how they work, and accept ourselves for where we are, Next, we can disempower them using special meditations. Finally, we can envision and even experience a state of total freedom and release, having transcended these difficult emotions.
Oct 19 - Craving, Desire and Attachment
Oct 26 - Dealing with Unhappiness
Nov 2 - How to Worry Less
Nov 9 - Overcoming Jealousy
