Habits of Happy People Monday GP July - August 2026
Happiness is something we all strive for in our heart of hearts. Yet we tend to make the attainment of happiness more complicated than it actually is, and habitual negative ways of thinking can also take us in the opposite direction. In this series, we will explore nine inspiring contemplations and meditations from the Buddhist tradition that will uplift our mood and enrich our life on a daily basis.

Living Meaningfully Dying Joyfully
We are all born and alive, so we must all die. This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence. Yet very few of us have come to terms with our death, except when we are required to, usually because of the loss of a loved one, sudden or expected. In this class we will discuss Buddha’s teachings on the death process, for ourselves and our loved ones. Most importantly we will learn how to make the most of our current human life and how to face our own death without fear, but with a joyful loving heart.
