About this event
We all want to enjoy our lives; our friends, family, food, etc. However, when we check, we find that at best these things provide only temporary happiness. Buddhism encourages us to be happy but due to minds of attachment and craving we instead often feel discontent in our life. In this course, we will explore the minds of attachment and craving and see how we can reduce them so that we are able to actually experience a meaningful and satisfying life. Includes guided meditation, Q&A, discussion and refreshments after the course. Everybody Welcome.
Jill has been practicing Buddhism since 2006 when she began attending classes at KMCNYC in Manhattan. She moved to Knoxville TN in 2018 and found the Je Tsongkhapa Kadampa Buddhist Center during the pandemic. She enrolled in the foundation program and is very excited to be a part of the Je Tsongkhapa Sangha! Jill is a social worker, mother of two and an occasional singer-songwriter.
