About this event
Normally when people think about ‘karma’ they automatically assume it’s all bad. Karma just means action and refers to the causes we are creating and the effects we experience in our life. If we truly understand the practicalities of karma we will see how we can prevent future problems and create the causes for abundant happiness in our life. Everyone Welcome.

Sue first found Meditation and Modern Buddhism in 2009 in Atlanta, GA when she wandered into the World Peace Café. She attended classes at Kadampa Meditation Center GA, studied on their Foundation Program and Teacher Training program which brought her depth of understanding to a deeper level. Sue also volunteered in various capacities. Upon retirement from her career in healthcare, Sue relocated to Western, NC, where she enjoys gardening, and creating a peaceful place for birds, bees, butterflies and any other critters that come around. She is also the author of a picture book ‘Gus’s Fortunate Misfortune”, and she has 3 adult children, 3 Grandchildren and lives with her partner in Old Fort, NC.

When Seth walked into the storefront Kadampa Buddhist Center in Atlanta in 2006, he
just wanted to find stress relief. He’s been studying and practicing, the path to
enlightenment ever since. A retired electronics engineer, he recently moved from
Atlanta to Old Fort, NC where he lives with his partner Sue.
