Drop-In Meditation Classes
The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. When our mind is calm and peaceful it is free from worry and mental discomfort. We are not easily ruffled and can remain balanced even when life is demanding or seems to be falling apart. With this inner stability we are laying a firm foundation to then develop profound and inspiring states of mind, and we will have the ability to benefit others.
Developing the mind of a meditator has so many benefits and is not difficult, we just need to learn what parts of our mind to strengthen and then begin to integrate this inner knowledge practically into our daily life. Each class will include guided meditation, a talk and time for discussion. Everyone Welcome.
Feb 8 - Developing Aspiration
Feb 15- Developing Mindfulness and Concentration
Feb 22 - Developing Wisdom
