Seeking advice from others can be beneficial in our life. But, how much more beneficial would it be if we sought the advice of those who have found permanent peace, actualized their full potential, and could skillfully guide others to that same state.
‘In this series we will begin to explore ‘Advice from Atisha’s Heart’, an ancient but very relevant text composed by the great Buddhist Master Atisha, The advice contained in this short but profound text is easy to follow, and it shows us a path for finding great meaning in our human life. By leaning to put these inspiring instructions into practice we can gradually begin to transform our ordinary daily life into something extraordinary.

In our busy modern life we are often striving to be more, do more, have more, accomplish more. We can get so caught up in striving to improve our external situation that we often don’t notice that it is not providing the happiness, comfort or security we crave. If we check we will see that it is actually giving rise to feeling more unsatisfied, more discontent and is at the very core of many of the problems we experience. If instead we learn to cultivate inner developments like contentment and compassion we will begin to experience a greater satisfaction and joy in our life.
In this series we will continue exploring ‘Advice from Atisha’s Heart’.
