Maybe you’ve heard about all the wonderful benefits of meditation. How it can help you feel relaxed and calm, improve your health, and give you greater focus, clarity and meaning in your life. But you’ve tried it and you feel like you just can’t meditate. Join Modern Buddhism teacher Jill Cagney for some practical tips about how you can change your relationship to meditation so you can enjoy the benefits and start to relate to yourself as someone who can meditate. Includes guided meditation, a talk and time for Q&A. Everybody Welcome.
Jill has been practicing Buddhism since 2006 when she began attending classes at KMCNYC in Manhattan. She moved to Knoxville TN in 2018 and found the Je Tsongkhapa Kadampa Buddhist Center during the pandemic. She enrolled in the foundation program and is very excited to be a part of the Je Tsongkhapa Sangha! Jill is a social worker, mother of two and an occasional singer-songwriter. She is also our Knoxville Branch Teacher.
